Stress is something we all know about and aim to reduce, high stress has many different negative effects but this is only one aspect. How reactive we are to stress also holds a great impact, and the same applies to how sensitive we are to it.

Stress reactivity is how easily your body reacts to stress and causes a stress response. The more reactive a person is, the easier they can enter a stressed state or fight or flight mode. As an example, a person with agoraphobia will tend to have very high stress reactivity and very small things may trigger a large release of stress hormones and place them into a stressed state.

Stress sensitivity is how sensitive you and your body are to stress. If there is two people and one of them has very high sensitivity to stress and the other person's sensitivity is low, the person with high sensitivity would have a much worse reaction and experience much worse effects from stress than the other person, even if they were experiencing the exact same amount of stress.

It can also determine how stress affects a person physically. A person with higher stress sensitivity is more likely to experience issues such as stress-induced hairloss, muscle tension, rapid heart rate, digestive issues, fatigue, burnout, poor skin, accelerated aging, cellular damage, hormone imbalances, hypertension, worsened immunity, anxiety, and many other issues. This field works to try and reduce and alleviate all of the issues, physical and mental, that have been caused by stress.

This field works to reduce both stress reactivity and sensitivity and regulate them back to a healthy normal. This has profound effects, mentally and spiritually. In doing so, you will notice that this field allows you to be less affected by stress. You will see that even under stress, you maintain your calm easier and you do not get affected by it as much. You notice that your body doesn't have stress reactions as easily. At the same time, you will notice that the physical effects of stress upon you begin to decrease.

This field works carefully upon balance and regulation. There are times when stress can be important, such as to wake you up each morning. This field focuses upon balance to decrease the issues of stress whilst maintaining the function that it can serve at times. You may even notice that because you are less conditioned and affected by stress, the useful and beneficial functions of it improve. You may find yourself waking up much easier, and noticing a host of other benefits.
